More about the role:

Driving the execution of the transformation programme requires exceptional coordination skills and practical leadership. In this role, you will take ownership of implementation planning and delivery, ensuring that strategic vision becomes operational reality. You will manage complex dependencies across workstreams, anticipate and mitigate risks, and maintain momentum through challenges. Your ability to organise cross-functional teams while maintaining focus on outcomes will be essential to achieving transformation objectives on time and within budget.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and manage detailed implementation plans for the transformation programme
  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks and issues that may impact implementation
  • Establish and maintain implementation governance structures and processes
  • Lead regular progress reviews and status reporting to key stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment between implementation activities and overall programme objectives
  • Collaborate with the Change Communications Lead to ensure messaging supports implementation activities
  • Drive continuous improvement of implementation approaches based on feedback and lessons learned
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential implementation challenges

Experience that contributes to success:

  • 8+ years of experience in programme management and implementation of large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Strong project management skills with experience using relevant methodologies and tools
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex workstreams across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in translating strategic objectives into practical implementation plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address implementation challenges
  • Experience working in matrix organisations and navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Knowledge of the energy sector or experience with government entities would be beneficial
  • Track record of successful delivery in high-pressure, high-visibility transformation programmes
