As a Senior Writer – Healthcare you will be a key contributor to our content strategy and execution, responsible for crafting compelling, accurate, and compliant content that educates, engages, and inspires our target audiences. With at least 3 years of experience in healthcare writing, you should be able to write content across different formats and should come up with innovative ideas to service clients
This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for healthcare and a proven ability to deliver high-quality content independently.
What you'll do:
Content Creation & Development
- Work with servicing teams across locations to understand the client’s communication needs.
- Plan content support for communications campaigns that help drive the client’s communications objectives.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and style
- Research, write, edit, and proofread a wide range of healthcare-focused content, including but not limited to:
- Articles by-lined by Doctors on - disease areas, public health issues, Patient case stories, New Technology, Government scheme/policy, health insurance & infrastructure etc.
- Thought leadership articles, blogs, and opinion pieces from the leaders of the health industry, highlighting the core health economics themes, Public-private collaborations, health insurance, and infrastructure, Govt health initiatives etc.
- Creating speeches and talking points
- Website copy (product pages, service descriptions, "about us")
- Patient education materials (brochures, fact sheets, FAQs)
- Professional resources (white papers, case studies, physician-facing articles)
- Email marketing campaigns and newsletters!
- Social media content
- Scripts for video and podcasts
- Translate complex medical, scientific, and clinical information into clear, concise, and engaging language for diverse audiences (patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, partners, internal stakeholders).
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and style across all content channels.
- Contribute to content strategy discussions, identifying opportunities for new content, repurposing existing content, and optimizing content for specific goals.
- Understand and apply audience personas to tailor content for maximum impact and engagement.
- Work independently on multiple projects while managing deadlines and priorities effectively.
Experience that contributes to success:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in English / Journalism / Communication or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in content writing in the healthcare space.
