LONDON, 23 January 2025 – Burson, the global communications agency purpose-built to create value for clients through reputation, today announced that corporate and public affairs expert Simon Redfern will join the agency as UK CEO, effective April 14th. Redfern will be based in London.

Before joining Burson, Redfern spent the last four years as Director of Communications for Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator. Before that he spent nearly two years with Google as Director of Public Affairs, Europe, having previously served as Vice President, Communications, EMEA, for Salesforce. Redfern also spent five years with Starbucks with progressive experience in corporate affairs, rising from Director, Corporate Affairs, UK to Director, Corporate Affairs, EMEA to Vice President, Corporate Affairs, EMEA. He also spent a dozen years at agencies in London, having served as a Partner at Pagefield Communications, an Associate Director at Fishburn Hedges and as a Director at Connect Public Affairs.
