Carlie is the General Manager of Burson in Western Canada. Her deep understanding of governmental processes, communications, and media relations is informed by senior roles within both the Alberta and British Columbia legislatures.

Prior to joining Burson, Carlie served as Director of Communications and Media Relations for the Official Opposition in British Columbia, and as a senior advisor in the BC Government. Her experience also includes serving as Chief of Staff to the Ministers of Indigenous Relations and Municipal Affairs in the Government of Alberta. Carlie provides strategic counsel to clients across a diverse range of sectors, including finance, aviation, transportation, and resource development.

Actively involved in provincial politics, Carlie is dedicated to supporting local awareness initiatives that encourage more women to run for office, demonstrating her commitment to leadership and community engagement.
