Before joining Burson Switzerland, Melissa worked as a Campaign Manager and PR & Communications Specialist in Social Media & Influencer Marketing. In these roles, she led key accounts, managed high-impact campaigns, and served as a project and client lead. Her extensive experience in the PR field includes working in both Switzerland and Germany, across agency and startup environments.

Melissa excels in executing local and international PR campaigns, collaborating with global teams to deliver a consistent corporate narrative across markets while addressing local priorities. She frequently works with senior management, to craft compelling talking points and prepare them to be media-ready. Melissa understands transforming complex or technical information into engaging stories that capture public interest.

Her strengths include strategic concept development, event organization, editorial writing, and project management. She also possesses an in-depth understanding of the Swiss media landscape. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications Management from the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, along with a graduate degree in Journalism and Media Law. She is fluent in five languages (German, English, Spanish, French, and Italian) and brings a rich cultural perspective to her work, influenced by her diverse background.
