His expertise spans corporate/consumer PR, public affairs, and digital strategy. Passionate about purpose-led organisations, Simon helps clients build reputation, earn trust, and achieve strategic goals. He is known for assembling high-performing teams and influencing at senior levels.
Before joining Burson, Simon was Director of Communications at Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator, where he played a key role in shaping public understanding around complex regulatory issues including the introduction of the Online Safety Act. His time at Ofcom was defined by a focus on clarity, transparency and public trust. Earlier in his career, Simon held senior roles at Google, Salesforce and Starbucks, overseeing communications across the UK and Europe. His experience spans corporate and consumer PR, public affairs, digital and social strategy, influencer engagement, internal communications, evaluation and analytics.
He is particularly passionate about working with purpose-led organisations — helping them build and protect reputation, earn trust, and demonstrate the value of communications in achieving strategic goals.
