More about the role:
The team is looking to recruit an Account Manager to work across a portfolio of leading global technology clients, spanning industry heavyweights and innovators such as Adobe, Qualcomm, Dell Technologies, Canon, and other brands operating at the intersection of technology, creativity, entertainment, devices, and everyday consumer experiences.
The role involves taking on a trusted, consultative position for key client contacts, leading the execution of integrated communication strategies, and driving daily account operations across consumer technology launches, product storytelling, media and influencer engagement, reviews programmes, events, and always-on reputation-building activity.
What you'll do:
- Client Relationship Management: Serving as the primary day-to-day contact for mid-level clients, leading regular status touchpoints, ensuring proactive upward communication, and anticipating client needs.
- B2B & Consumer Technology Storytelling: Distilling complex technologies, products, platforms, propositions, and launches into sharp narratives tailored for business, trade, vertical, national, consumer technology, lifestyle, creator, and influencer audiences.
- Workstream Ownership: Driving key deliverables and campaign workstreams from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on strategy, on schedule, and to the highest quality standard.
- Media, Reviews, Analyst, Creator & Content Creation: Leading daily engagement across business, trade, vertical, tier-1, consumer technology, lifestyle, creator, and influencer media. Supporting product reviews and seeding programmes, analyst and stakeholder activity, launch moments, events, and the development of high-impact materials including press releases, pitches, briefing notes, messaging, Q&As, blog content, and executive thought leadership.
- Strategic Planning & Account Growth: Contributing actively to B2B and consumer technology planning sessions, product launch strategies, executive visibility programmes, thought leadership campaigns, cultural moments, content proposals, and organic growth opportunities for existing accounts.
- Data-Driven Insights: Partnering with intelligence analysts and strategists to evaluate campaign data and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to clients.
Experience that contributes to success:
- B2B and/or Consumer Technology Experience: Prior experience in B2B technology, enterprise communications, consumer technology, lifestyle technology, devices, entertainment, gaming, creator, product, or integrated technology communications OR a background in another fast-moving business, consumer, lifestyle, or technology sector with a keen curiosity and passion to immerse yourself in the technology space.
- Technical Curiosity: A fast-learning mindset with the ability to get up to speed quickly on new technologies, product features, device ecosystems, enterprise use cases, market trends, customer behaviours, and the broader innovation themes shaping business and consumer audiences.
- Media, Analyst & Creator Instincts: A proven track record in media relations with an understanding of what makes a strong technology story for business, trade, vertical, national, consumer technology, lifestyle, broadcast, online, analyst, creator, and influencer audiences.
- Independence & Professional Confidence: The self-assurance to advise mid-level clients independently and represent the agency with authority.
- Operational Excellence: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and a high degree of personal accountability for your workstreams.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach when navigating complex challenges or tight deadlines.
