Jeff Marshall, the Global Chief Inclusion & Impact Officer at Burson, leads the agency’s global strategy to ensure its workforce reflects the diversity of the world and fosters a deep sense of belonging for every team member. In this role, Jeff partners with leaders, clients, and industry peers to design and implement enterprise-wide inclusion and impact frameworks that drive measurable engagement, remove systemic barriers, and embed inclusion into every aspect of the organization’s culture and operations.

Jeff has a proven track record of building and executing transformative diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging strategies in the advertising, media and communications space. In his previous role at UM Worldwide, he served as the organization’s first Chief Diversity Officer, creating a comprehensive, actionable plan that elevated employee engagement, strengthened client partnerships, and advanced representation across the business. His 17 years in media strategy, buying, and planning across leading agencies give him a unique perspective on how to integrate inclusive practices into both creative and operational processes.

Beyond his role at Burson, Jeff is a respected industry voice, serving on the 4A’s Diversity Steering Committee, She Runs It’s DEI Advisory Council, and BRIDGE’s Strategic Advisory Council. His leadership has been recognized with numerous honors, including induction into the American Marketing Association’s 2024 Hall of Fame, the American Advertising Federation Mosaic Center’s Inaugural Guardian Award, Color Magazine’s 2023 Top CDO Power List, ThinkLA’s 2023 DIG Award, and recognition as one of ADWEEK’s 2022 Media All-Stars.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Delaware Valley University and a Juris Doctorate from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
