Ruke Kim is a Senior Vice President at Burson. He joined Synergy H&K in 2009 and worked in PR and marketing communications over 20 years.
Ruke is an all-around PR professional, particularly focusing on corporate PR for domestic and global markets, thanks to his comprehensive knowledge and various work experiences in various industries, including automotive, energy, government, IT/Tech, consumer brands and F&B.
Ruke delivers original perspectives and insightful knowledge on corporate communications strategies, having gained a variety of experiences particularly through government organizations, such as the Lottery Commission of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Nanum Lotto and Korea Union Lottery. Also, he is reputable for consulting numerous PR strategy development plans for Korea Water Resource Corporation, Ministry of Health & Welfare, Ministry of Public Administration & Security, Goyang City’s 92th National Sports Festival and the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. He is also recognized for his contribution to the Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee with excellent PR performance for the 2014 Incheon Asian Games helping them in corporate communications, marketing communications, influencer marketing, social media management, global newsroom operation, crisis and issue management, and development of thought leadership. He has been contributing to those clients to deliver their narratives/stories effectively and increase brand awareness.
During the last 12 years, Ruke has gained a good understanding of the automobile industry and handled Hyundai Motor, Kia Motors, Genesis, Ford Korea, Han Sung Motor, SSCL, focusing on corporate PR, influencer programs, CSR management, issue management, media management, event execution, marketing PR and digital communications.
